This Week in Georgetown – March 18, 2021
Hello Georgetown!
I hope you felt a little luckier this week, with St. Patrick’s Day and all. Of course, the luck of St. Patrick doesn’t have to just be on the 17th of March – why celebrate the whole month?
Speaking of celebrating, you should definitely check out Gumbo’s on the Square! They had an excellent St. Patrick’s Day celebration, and are the perfect place to visit for a meal all month! You can get details in the newsletter this week.
We have new information from the City of Georgetown about how the recent snowstorm related outages will impact your bill (sneak peak: there will be no rate changes for customers), Williamson County has announced they are beginning to vaccinate for Phase 1c, Georgetown Parks and Recreation has details on their summer camps for this year and an artist has been selected for the new mural coming to the Georgetown Animal Shelter!
Plus, mark your calendars! I’m thrilled to have been invited to speak at the upcoming Breakfast Bites meeting on March 25th – I’ll be talking about how our community can continue to give back to small businesses and non-profits all year round!
These are just a few of the stories we have for you this week, check it all out in the newsletter below!
